The Journal of Expectations, established by Reiham Amin is an reflective journal which aims to provide users with a safe space to create personal closures on relationships with others. The journal itself contains poems written by the author as well as illustrations, lined pages and scrapbooking pages for the user to reflect. To enhance the storytelling aspect, a defining “update” and “lessons” section was added. Started in May of 2023, The Journal of Expectations discovered it’s identity through a combination of bright colours which developed into the gradient.
